Frequently asked questions
The straight answers homeowners ask us most — cost, timelines, service areas, and how a project actually runs in the Salt Lake Valley.
How much does professional landscaping cost in Utah?
It depends on the size of the space, the design complexity, and the materials and plants involved — most full landscape projects in the Salt Lake Valley fall in the several-thousand to tens-of-thousands range. We give a free, customized estimate after a consultation and site review, with no obligation, so you know the real number before any work begins.
What landscaping services does Xperience Landscaping offer?
We handle outdoor spaces start to finish: landscape design and installation, hardscape construction (patios, walkways, retaining walls, fire features), irrigation system installation, and both residential and commercial landscaping. We also design water-wise xeriscapes suited to Utah's climate.
What areas of Utah do you serve?
We're based in Midvale and serve the Salt Lake Valley, including Midvale, Sandy, Draper, Murray, South Jordan, West Jordan, Riverton, Holladay, Cottonwood Heights, and Salt Lake City.
How long does a typical landscaping project take?
It depends on scope. Design usually takes a few weeks of iteration, and installation is scheduled once the plan and materials are locked in. You'll get a realistic, project-specific schedule with your estimate — not a vague guess.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We carry insurance and operate as part of the established Xperience family of Utah home-services companies, alongside Xperience Roofing. We're happy to provide proof of insurance before your project begins.
Do you stand behind your work?
We do. Our crews install to the approved plan with clean lines and clean job sites, and every project ends with a care walkthrough so everything we plant and build thrives. We'll go over the specifics of what's covered when we scope your project.
What does your landscaping process look like from start to finish?
It runs in clear steps: a design consultation to talk goals, style, and budget; a site evaluation of sun, soil, drainage, and grade; a custom design you approve before any work starts; professional installation to that plan; bed and mulch finishing so it looks complete on day one; and a care walkthrough at the end.
Do you offer water-wise or xeriscape landscaping for Utah's climate?
Yes — water-wise design is a core part of what we do. We select Utah-hardy plants and can design full drought-tolerant xeriscapes that cut water use while still looking great year-round. See our xeriscaping guide for details.
