DISTRICT APPLICATION WALKTHROUGH

NORTHERN WASATCH FRONT: $2.50 / SQ FT

Weber Basin · STEP-BY-STEP APPLICATION GUIDE

Weber Basin Water Conservancy District

Serving: Ogden, Layton, Clearfield, Roy, Clinton, West Point and 8 more cities

Weber Basin Water Conservancy District serves the northern Wasatch Front — Ogden, Layton, Bountiful, Farmington, and the communities between them. The district participates in the Utah Landscape Incentive Program at a flat $2.50/sqft rate, with no district bonus or drip add-on. That said, $2.50/sqft is still meaningful money: a typical 2,000 sq ft front-yard conversion returns $5,000, and a larger property can reach the $25,000 cap.

FAQ · Weber Basin REBATE QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Weber Basin rebate the same as the state program?

Weber Basin participates in the Utah Landscape Incentive Program, which is state-funded. The district sets its own per-sqft rate ($2.50) and administers applications locally. You apply through Weber Basin, not directly to the state.

Does Weber Basin offer any bonus for converting to drip irrigation?

No — Weber Basin does not currently offer a separate drip-irrigation bonus. The $2.50/sqft rate is the full amount available.

My property is in Layton — how much could I get back?

At $2.50/sqft, a 1,500 sqft grass conversion returns $3,750; 3,000 sqft returns $7,500. We'll measure your turf area on-site during the free estimate and show you the numbers.
